The BCPC's data technicians who are charged with maintaining the parcel layer in the GIS maintenance database that this dataset is derived from are not licensed surveyors. The BCPC has a great deal of respect for the surveying community and the vital role that they play in creating accurate land descriptions. The BCPC wants to therefore stress that the features depicted by this dataset is our best effort to reflect accurate plat and highway plan boundaries; However, this dataset must not be construed as survey-quality representations of plat boundaries.
